Stretching the Sheet
Taking the idea of mixed media to heart, I am creating a painting in addition to a few books. Rather than spending money on a pre-stretched canvas at the local craft store, I made one myself. The fabric is an old sheet that I stretched over a few 1" x 3" boards. The canvas is 4' x 6' and cost a grand total of $3.21.
Progress
The painting consists of basic house paint, photo transfers, matte medium, and pastels.
Photo Transfers
I'm putting a book of some past photo transfers. I had an entire sketchbook of transfers that I wanted to be slightly more presentable. All of the transfers are done using ink-jet photos, water, and a little hydrogen peroxide. I also did four 8" x 10" transfers and those will be put into a book this summer.

Finally, some books. We've tried a few different bindings so far, and my favorites are the Codex and Coptic style bindings.
